Form Filler is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Chrome extension.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All information you enter — including API keys and personal data for form filling — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API or browser localStorage.

Third-Party API Usage

When you use the Fill feature, your personal data is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you selected:

• Anthropic Claude API — governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy
• OpenAI ChatGPT API — governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy

We do not act as an intermediary and have no access to these communications. The data is transmitted directly between your browser and the provider's servers.

Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored locally on your device
• No data is sent to our servers — we do not operate any servers
• You can delete your data at any time using the Reset function in the extension
• We recommend not storing highly sensitive information (e.g., government ID numbers, financial account details) in the extension

Permissions

Form Filler requests the following browser permissions:

• activeTab — to detect and fill form fields on the current page
• sidePanel — to display the extension UI
